Jack Gowan

Hi, I’m Jack Gowan, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Executive, and I’ve been helping clients buy and sell real estate across Spartanburg, Greenville, and Cherokee Counties for more than 46 years. Having lived in this area for over 70 years, I know the communities, the market, and the people who make this region such a great place to live. Over the years, I’ve worked with just about every type of client and property — from starter homes to luxury properties and for investors building their portfolio. I enjoy the challenge of creative real estate and finding solutions that help bring transactions together. My clients appreciate my customer care, my deep knowledge of the many details involved in a real estate transaction, and my commitment to doing what it takes to get the deal done. Before starting my real estate career, I worked as a planning manager for a textile company which required managing raw materials through the plant processes to be finished in time to meet the shipping deadline for the customer. These roles helped develop my attention to detail and ability to stay focused and organized during complex transactions. Today, I put that experience to work helping guide my clients through every step of the process. Customer service has always been the most important part of my business. I believe every client should feel confident they chose the right REALTOR®, and I communicate however my clients prefer — whether that’s phone, text, or email — to make the experience as smooth as possible. I’m also proud to stay involved in the community. I support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and am a member in he Spartanburg Downtown Sertoma Club, which raises money for local children, and I serve as Chairman of the Spartanburg County Board of Appeals. Outside of real estate, my wife and I enjoy renovating properties and turning them into quality rental homes.
